Former Head of Legal Department of Estonian Tax & Customs Board joins Raidla Lejins & Norcous

Villy Lopman, former Head of Legal Department of Estonian Tax & Customs Board, joins Raidla Lejins & Norcous to further develop the firms' tax practice. Together with the firms´ Tax Counsel Marek Herm, Lopman is to expand and develop the practice for Raidla Lejins & Norcous to become the first choice tax advisor in Estonia.

Since 2005 Villy Lopman has worked at Estonian Tax and Customs Board legal department, last three years as head of the department. He has throughout the years been actively involved in capacious tax disputes, legislative developments (especially changes for Taxation Act) and carried out tax-related trainings (incl. trainings for judges and for other officers working on administrative proceedings and taxes). Villy obtained a law degree from the University of Tartu and LL.M from Westfälische Wilhelms Universität, Germany.
