The European Energy Review 2008 by Herbert Smith LLP gives an in-depth survey of the current issues in the energy sector in 31 European jurisdictions. The attorneys of Raidla Lejins & Norcous – Jaanus Ikla and Heleri Tammiste – have contributed a general overview of the Estonian legal and regulatory framework in the energy sector (electricity, oil & gas, climate change and sustainability, nuclear energy) and an article pointing out the recent market developments in Estonia (including search for new electricity production and import capacities, renewable energy and cogeneration).
