Firm overview and history

On 22 February 1993 law firm Raidla & Partners is established by Dr. Jüri Raidla, the first Minister of Justice of the newly independent Republic of Estonia, and one of the leading French law firms Moquet Borde & Associes. In 1994 the Scandinavian practice of Sven Papp is merged and the firm starts to operate under the name of Raidla & Partners.

Since mid-nineties when international legal rating agencies started covering Estonia, Raidla Lejins & Norcous (new name of Raidla & Partners since May 2008) has continuously been ranked among the leading law firms in Estonia.

 

On 1 May 2004 Raidla & Partners, together with Roschier Holmberg of Finland, Lejins, Torgans & Partners of Latvia and Norcous & Partners of Lithuania started offering legal services under the joint concept and brand of RoschierRaidla.

In 2005 Raidla & Partners joined IUS LABORIS, an international Employment Law, Pensions and Employee Benefits Alliance.

On 1 February 2006 the Stockholm office of Roschier was opened.

On 1 May, 2008 the Baltic firms of RoschierRaidla alliance unified their business names and corporate identity to Raidla Lejins & Norcous.
