Dr iur Ants Nõmper is one of the most widely recognised Intellectual Property, IT and Medical Law experts in Estonia whose work is closely linked with the word “innovation”. Ants has led a number of innovative cases including the first patent dispute in Estonia, the first dispute over responsibility of a media channel over commentaries in Estonia, the first Estonian pharmaceutical advertisement dispute in the European Court of Justice and receiving the first preliminary ruling for a generic pharmaceutical in Estonia. He is also one of the authors of the text books “Medical Law” and “Information and Law”, the first in their related fields to be published in Estonia. Ants is also a member of the .ee and .eu Domain Disputes Committee.

- Advising Zeroturnaround in a corporate FLIP transaction
- Advising the national energy company Eesti Energia Aktsiaselts in the procurement of new client management software. The project is one of the largest software transactions in Estonian history
- Advising an Estonian leading IT developer in a dispute regarding performance of a software development agreement to produce a national database/registry
- Advising global pharmaceutical companies AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Bayer and Lundbeck in successfully receiving preliminary injunctions in pharmaceutical patent disputes
- Advising the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications in conducting the .ee domain reform
- Advising the Estonian Authors´ Society against Viasat AS over interpretation of cable transmission and SAT TV exceptions under the EU cable TV directive
- Drafting the legal framework for implementation of nationwide E-health projects (electronic health records, electronic prescriptions, electronic registration and archiving of images) in Estonia
- The Delfi case: advising an individual in a landmark case against AS Delfi, an Estonian leading internet media company, creating a precedent on matters whether and under what conditions is a media company responsible for the online comments of its readers linked to an article made public through an internet based news portal
- Advising the creators of Skype technology in opposition to a request of an U.S. court to collect evidence in Estonia under the 1970 Hague convention regarding Skype and Global Index software in connection with the claim of Net2Phone, Inc against eBay Inc. and Skype
